The Kingdom Of Lesotho Minister Of Health Visits LMMU.

The Levy Mwanawasa Medical University (LMMU) recently hosted a high-powered delegation from the Kingdom of Lesotho led by that country’s Minister of Health, Hon. Semano Sekatle.

The delegation from the Government of Lesotho that included Lesotho’s Ministry of Health Principal Secretary, Mrs. Molrei Ntene was in the country to familiarize themselves with the Zambian health sector.

The delegation had earlier held a high-level meeting with the Minster of Health, Hon. Silvia Masebo and other senior officials.

Grandeur Visit To LMMU

The Levy Mwanawasa Medical University (LMMU) today hosted pupils from Pestalozzi Educational Centre who visited the University for a Career Talk to mark the School’s Career Week.

Our important visitors, ranging in age from six to 12, where received by LMMU Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics, Prof. Yusuf Ahmed and Head of Department for Biomedical Sciences, Mr. Mox Kalumbi, among other Lectures.

Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital (LMUTH) has scooped two awards at the just ended Africa Public Service Day held at the East Park Mall in Lusaka.

Her Honour, Mrs. Mutale Nalumango, Acting President of the Republic of Zambia, handed over the prestigious awards to the hospital at the colourful Africa Public Service Day celebrations yesterday.

The awards won by the celebrated hospital were: second place for being the most resilient institution during the COVID-19 pandemic and third place for being the most Customer Centric Institution.
